These clown loaches are aquarium bred and raised here, they are small, about 1 inch in size and 3-4 months old. They readily accept prepared food and are disease free. This fish has been a favorite in the aquarium fish hoppy for the past 50 years. They are a playful fish that is very active and fun to watch. They love to be in groups of 3 and more fish. This fish is easy to care for and maintain, they will adapt to a wide range of water parameters. They do well in Ph range of 6.5 to 8 and soft and hard water. They prefer temperature of 78F to 84F, more on the warm side. It does well in planted community aquarium; it will not dig up plants. This fish enjoys swimming and looks for current as it love to swim against it. This fish is also known to sleep on its side. Many times you will find them laying on their side and think the worse, but then they rise up and swim away. This fish is sensitive to ick(disease) so make sure you have a nice warm aquarium for them, as ick does not do well in warm aquariums ( 80 F and up).
