This small Loricaridae (L-134) pelcoltia does not get much larger than 3.5”.  This small plecostomus is quite active. Love to hang on the aquarium glass, the surface of a rock or leave.  It is an omnivorous fish and not a picky eater, will eat sinking pellets, algae wafers and blanched veggies.  It has a unique coloration of alternating wide yellowish band and dark brown/black bands.  It is a very good looking catfish. It loves to forage thought the aquarium day and night.  They do well by themselves in small planted aquariums, or in small group in larger planted aquarium.  They require a single small hiding place to hide and feel safe, like a cave.

USPS orders will  be shipped Mondays and Tuesday only  

FedEx 2 days orders will be shipped Monday Tuesday and Wednesday only 

FedEx overnight orders will be shipped on Monday Tuesdays Wednesdays and Tuesdays only 

All the fish orders will be shipped after 2-3 days after your purchase. 

We  purge all the fish for at least 48 hrs before shipping.  

We currently do not ship when the weather is below 40 F or above 95 F during the day in the customer area.  

We recommend using USPS hold for pick up when the weather is getting cold lows in the 40 F at night.

The coldest or hottest time for the shipment is in the truck on the final leg of the trip.

We do use 72 hours heat packs when necessary. 

We also use cold packs when necessary. 

We do use O2 on all shipments.            

BioAquatix reserve the right to determine when is the best day to ship your product 

when the weather and possible other factors are in play.  

No guarantee live arrival when using USPS priority. 

We do replace the live fish, but customer will pay shipping again. 

We only guarantee live arrival on FedEx overnight.
