When do we ship and when it will arrive your order?
All the order will be shipped 2-3 days after your purchase. We purge all the live animals before shipping in order to make them travel safe.
FedEx overnight orders will be shipped Monday to Thursday only.
FedEx 2nd Day Air/FedEx Ground orders will be shipped Monday to Thursday only.
All the orders received on Wednesday and over it will be shipped next week.
When we may reschedule your shipping:
Not all the shipping service can be apply to all the orders.
FedEx Priority Overnight ( 1 Day fish in bags ) FedEx Standard Overnight ( 1 Day fish in bags ) and FedEx Ground (Florida Only) ( 1 Day fish in bags ) will be shipped only if the weather temperatures in your area and Memphis TN (FedEx Hub) are above 40F and under 95F
FedEx Second Day Air ( 1-2 Days fish in bags ) will be shipped only if the weather temperatures in your area and Memphis TN (FedEx Hub) are above 45F and under 90F
Other circumstances that may reschedule your shipment:
When fish are not ready to ship. Some animals do need more time to clean up than others. For example plecos need extra time.
When the fish may not be in a good enough physical condition. Some fish are more sensitive and/or aggressive, they might get little damage from being moved from grow out tank to shipping tank.
During the holidays and 1-2 days before the Holiday. We will not ship your order if the arriving time is on the holiday, when the shipping service may be closed, this is in order to avoid a extra long transit for the animals.
Please feel free to let us know if you prefer a specific shipping day, we will do our best to satisfy your request.
We may request that you to pick up your order( hold for pick up) from your nearest FedEx Ship Center if the weather conditions are not favorable for the fish to spend extra time in a cold truck before delivery.
You will receive the tracking number (on the same shipping day) before the fish are shipped out. Orders are dropped off at the FedEx Ship Center just in time before the shipment will be on road.
How do the fish travel?
The fish travel in plastic bags with clean water and pure oxygen. They are then placed in a Styrofoam insulation container which is protected by a cardboard box. We can also use heat or ice packs depending on the season. The fish can easily remain this way for over 48 hours. Because we want to make sure they arrive feeling strong, we ask that you be present when they are delivered to you. You should also plan for some time to place them in their new aquarium. Rest assured that all happy swimmers fly business class ;-)
What do I need to do when I receive my fish?

Inspect the box upon receipt. Make sure there is no significant visible damage to the box.

Open the box and inspect the fish. This is where you need to see if any are DOA. If there are any DOA please take pictures in the unopened bag.

Next you want to float the bags for 5-10 min. DO NOT OPEN the bags. DO NOT PUT water into the bags from your tank.

Place a net over a bucket and pour the fish into the net. Place the fish directly into your tank. DO NOT PLACE any of the shipping water into your tank.

Leave the lights off for several hours to let the new fish settle into their new home.

Do not feed until the fish look happy and active. Catfish will be more active with the lights off.
What should I do if I don’t receive my order confirmation or shipping info about my order?
If you will not receive your order confirmation, shipping info or something went bad with your order please email us at bioaquatix@gmail.com and we will do our best to help and find a way to make it right.
What if I receive a dead fish?
bioAquatiX has worked to improve the packing of live arrival, (we are still working and doing research to improve the packing of the fish), however there are too many factors that influence it and unfortunately we cannot control what happens to the shipment during transit. Which make it impossible to guarantee 100% lives arriving at any destinations, with any shipping service?
If you receive any dead fish (DOA), please don’t write a review before getting in contact with us. Just send a picture of the unopened bag containing the dead fish at bioaquatix@gmail.com and we will do our best to help and find a way to make it right. Fish will be replaced with the same fish on your next order or on our next shipping day, or we can refund you for the loss.
