Jungle Vallesinaria, is a very undemanding, fast growing species of Vallisneria. Its leaves are narrow ribbon that can grow up to 36+ inches. As the plant grows and establishes itself in the aquarium, it creates a perfect dense habitat for small fish and shrimps to hide into and forage.
In the wild it does produce flower stalks that break away at the water surface and float before germinating. They rarely produce flower stems in the aquarium and are just propagated by runners. Leaves that are dying off can also be removed by lifting them away at the base. It is a good addition to the aquarium.
