Wendtii Red or Cryptocoryne wendtii "Red" is a beautiful reddish brown variety of Cryptocoryne wendtii. This plant does well in a wide range of water condition parameters and the condition parameters in which it lives will often affect its form and color. When grown in lower light, the plant will become taller and narrower; plants from higher light will typically remain more compact with broader leaves. 
 
C. wendtii 'Red' is an extremely variable plant and can be used in any location in the aquarium as lighting and nutrition allow. This plant responds greatly to lighting, showing a growth habit that is highly dependent on light intensity.
